Evaluation of OMEGA-3 Effect in Alveolar Socket Preservation in Aesthetic Zone

This study evaluates the effect of omega-3 fatty acids. It focuses on their use in alveolar socket preservation, which is important for maintaining bone volume after tooth extraction. Specifically, their impact in the aesthetic zone is examined, where preserving a natural appearance is crucial. The intervention involved administering dietary supplements with fish oil containing omega-3. The goal was to determine if these supplements can contribute to successful alveolar socket preservation. The study was sponsored by Cairo University and the project has been successfully completed.
