Intrathecal Injection of Hyperbaric Prilocaine Versus Hyperbaric Bupivacaine for Cystoscopic Procedures

This study focused on comparing two different local anesthetics. Specifically, it investigated hyperbaric prilocaine and hyperbaric bupivacaine. Both substances were administered via intrathecal injection. The aim was to determine their efficacy and safety during cystoscopic procedures. Cystoscopic procedures are interventions performed on the bladder and urethra. The study was sponsored by Helwan University. The research has been successfully completed.
