Functional Neuroimaging and Motor Recovery After Stroke

The study examines functional neuroimaging and its role in motor recovery of patients after stroke. The research was conducted at the University of Delaware and is now completed. The study investigated conventional physical therapy as an intervention approach to improve motor function following stroke. Neuroimaging techniques allow monitoring of changes in brain activity during the recovery process. The research contributed to better understanding of neuroplasticity mechanisms and brain regeneration after stroke. Findings from this study may help in developing more effective rehabilitation methods.
