Laboratorní výsledky se dostanou už letos k pacientům online

From the end of August, patients will be able to monitor laboratory test results electronically through the EZKarta mobile application or on the eZdraví server. Data will be available for patients from 2020 onwards. A total of 282 laboratories have been integrated into the central repository, collecting over 405 million laboratory test results tracking 28 parameters, such as blood sugar levels, cholesterol, and PSA antigen. The digitization of laboratory data will enable doctors to better assess patient health status, prevent duplicate testing, and identify disease risks early. The data will also be shared with health insurance companies. The Ministry of Health is preparing additional e-health tools, including mandatory electronic health documentation from 2029.
