Teclistamab-based induction treatment in transplant-eligible, newly diagnosed multiple myeloma: a phase 2 trial

An ongoing phase 2 clinical trial, GMMG-HD10/DSMM-XX, also known as MajesTEC-5, is being conducted. This study focuses on patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma who are eligible for transplantation. It investigates an induction treatment based on teclistamab, which is a BCMA×CD3 bispecific engager. Teclistamab is administered in combination with daratumumab and lenalidomide, with or without bortezomib. The trial results indicated that this treatment has a similar toxicity profile to other bispecific regimens. Furthermore, an encouraging and deep response rate to the treatment was observed.
