A study titled 'My Hospital Buddy Ida: AR-CBT for Children With Cancer' focused on improving the condition of children with pediatric cancer. The main goal was to address anxiety, cancer-related distress, and improve the quality of life for these children. Two intervention methods were used within the study. The first was augmented reality-supported behavioral therapy (AR-CBT), known as 'My Hospital Buddy Ida'. The second method was standard cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) using a printed workbook. The study was sponsored by Koç University, Akdeniz University, and the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB). The project has been successfully completed.
