Self-Management in Adults With Asthma or COPD

The study focuses on self-management in adult patients with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The intervention program utilized educational materials including video animations and brochures. The goal was to improve patients' ability to independently manage their disease. The study was conducted at Mustafa Kemal University. Self-management includes understanding the disease, proper medication use, and symptom recognition. Education through visual materials helps patients better understand their health condition. Such interventions are important for improving the quality of life in patients with chronic respiratory diseases.
