This study investigated the use of magnesium sulfate after temporomandibular joint (TMJ) arthrocentesis. The primary objective was to examine its effects in patients suffering from TMJ pain and joint disc displacement. Three different interventions were tested within the study. The experimental group received magnesium sulfate. Other groups were treated with hyaluronic acid (HA) and normal saline (0.9% sodium chloride). The study was sponsored by Yuzuncu Yil University. All phases of the study have been successfully completed.
