This article discusses a study focused on tooth root shortening. The study investigated three different methods of upper front teeth retraction. The primary objective was to compare the impact of these methods on root shortening. Patients participating in the study presented with Class II Division 1 malocclusion. The interventional procedures employed included a bidimensional bracket system, a hybrid dual-section archwire, and conventional sliding mechanics. The research was sponsored by Damascus University and has been successfully completed.
