Standard Urotherapy With or Without Biofeedback Based Pelvic Floor Muscle Training for Dysfunctional Voiding in Children

This study focused on evaluating treatment approaches for dysfunctional voiding in children. Dysfunctional voiding is a condition that affects the normal bladder emptying process in the pediatric population. The research compared two main therapeutic interventions aimed at improving this condition. The first method was standard urotherapy, representing a basic approach to treatment. The second intervention combined standard urotherapy with pelvic floor muscle training, which was supported by biofeedback. The objective was to determine whether the addition of biofeedback to urotherapy yielded better results. This clinical study was sponsored by Tanta University. The research has been successfully completed.
