The study examined the effects of menthol on the performance of volleyball players. The research compared three groups: a control group with water, a group using menthol gargle, and a group using menthol buccal film. Participants were male volleyball players. The study focused on measuring anaerobic capacity and respiratory parameters. Menthol interventions were applied acutely, in a short-term timeframe. The research was completed and data were collected. The objective was to determine whether menthol has a positive effect on physical performance and breathing during intense physical activity.
