The study examined the impact of community health education on patients with high blood pressure. A randomized controlled trial included 200 patients from a health center in Tianshui, divided into two groups – a control group receiving standard care and an intervention group receiving additional health education. After six months, both groups showed reduced systolic and diastolic blood pressure, improved mental health, and better sleep quality. However, the intervention group achieved significantly better results, including lower blood pressure, improved self-care abilities, better medication adherence, and higher patient satisfaction. The research confirmed that community health education effectively reduces blood pressure and improves the quality of life in elderly patients with hypertension.
