České eRecepty ode dneška platí i v Rakousku: Lékárny u sousedů spustily novou službu

Since Wednesday, January 15, 2025, it is possible to purchase medicines prescribed on a Czech eRecipe in Austria as well. This expands the network of countries where cross-border electronic prescriptions issued in the Czech Republic can be used. Since February 2024, Austrian eRecipes could be used in Czech pharmacies; now Czech patients have the same option when traveling to Austria. Czech eRecipes could previously be used in nine countries: Estonia, Finland, Croatia, Cyprus, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Greece, and Spain. Austria is now another connected country. The participation of individual European countries in this system is voluntary and depends on their technical readiness.
