Caudal Block v/s Local Wound Infiltration for Pain Control in Pediatric Patients After Operation for Inguinal Hernia

This study compares two methods of pain control in pediatric patients. It focuses on pain after inguinal hernia surgery. The first method is a caudal block with ropivacaine. The second method is local wound infiltration, also with ropivacaine. In addition to these two approaches, intravenous paracetamol suspension is also used. The aim is to determine which method is more effective in alleviating postoperative pain. The study was sponsored by Fatima Memorial Hospital. The research has already been completed.
