This project focuses on the impact of the "Food as Medicine" program on glycemic control. The main condition the study concentrates on is diabetes mellitus (DM). Nutritional interventions included behavioral approaches, specifically the "Food as Medicine Eskenazi" and "Indiana Health NourishedRX" programs. The project was conducted at two large academic medical centers. Sponsors of this research include Indiana University, Indiana University Health, Eskenazi Health, Purdue University, and Direct Relief. The aim was to observe how these interventions affect blood sugar control in diabetic patients. The study has already been completed.
