This study investigated the efficacy of Bioactive Collagen Peptide (BCP) compared to Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulphate (GCS). It focused on patients suffering from knee osteoarthritis. Specifically, cases diagnosed with Kellgren-Lawrence Grade I to III were included. The objective was to compare how these two types of dietary supplements affect the condition of the knee joint. Bioactive Collagen Peptide and Glucosamine with Chondroitin Sulphate were administered as dietary supplements. The study was sponsored and conducted by Liaquat National Hospital & Medical College. The research has been successfully completed. It thus provides data on the comparative efficacy of these substances in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
