This article describes a study focused on the effect of boric acid wet dressing. The study investigated the impact of this dressing on postpartum perineal healing and pain. Conditions monitored included perineal trauma, episiotomy, episiotomy wounds, perineal pain, and perineal lacerations. Various interventions were used within the study. One of them was a 2% boric acid wet dressing. Other groups included a 0.9% normal saline wet dressing and a routine care group. The study was sponsored by Saglik Bilimleri Universitesi and the research has been completed.
