The study examined how adult men with obesity respond to exercise and dietary changes based on their MC4R genotype and metabolic health status. The research distinguished between metabolically healthy obesity and metabolically unhealthy obesity. Participants underwent supervised aerobic and resistance exercise as part of the interventions. The study was conducted by Harbin Sport University and has been completed. The research aimed to understand individual differences in response to treatment interventions. The objective was to determine whether MC4R genotype influences the effectiveness of exercise and dietary changes in men with different types of obesity.
