The Global Fund provided emergency funding to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) for its malaria response. This financial support, amounting to US$4.6 million, was approved in July. The aim is to strengthen the country's response to malaria. It is also expected that this aid will bolster DR Congo's response to the Ebola epidemic.
