The Záchranka application now operates in eleven Czech regions, including the Zlín region. When the emergency button is pressed, the application sends rescuers the caller's precise location, health profile, and other phone data. The application also enables video calls with dispatchers and communication through icons and text for people who cannot speak or hear. It offers additional features for everyday life, such as a map of the nearest defibrillators, information about medical and pharmacy services, and first aid procedures. The Zlín region emergency service performs over 65,000 emergency calls annually and receives approximately 100,000 emergency calls. The application is primarily intended for seniors and their caregivers and can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Google Play.
