The study explored digital biomarkers for health monitoring during heat exposure. Twenty participants were exposed to various heat stressors. Vital parameters such as heart rate and body temperature were measured using wearable sensors, and local sweat rate was determined using technical absorbents. A Random Forest model distinguished between different heat stressors with 94.7% accuracy. Results showed that combining physiological and environmental measurements is important for effective monitoring. Key variables differed by stressor type: ambient temperature was primarily predicted by environmental factors, physical exertion by physiological assessments, and relative humidity by both types of measurements. The study demonstrates the potential of digital biomarkers for individualized and lab-independent health monitoring during heat exposure.
