The study examined the effects of a 3D-avatar application gogh on workload, mood, and fatigue in 40 users during 30-minute work tasks. Results showed that using the gogh application resulted in lower NASA Task Load Index scores (42.3 versus 51.7 without the application), representing a difference of -9.5 points. The application also reduced negative mood by 11.4 points and fatigue by 15.0 points. Further analyses revealed lower frustration, effort, and physical demand when using gogh. The virtual co-working environment was associated with reduced perceived workload and psychological burden, although further studies are needed to verify long-term effects on health and productivity.
