Construction of a home-based social support service content framework for Chinese patients with chronic heart failure based on Maslow's hierarchy of needs

The study developed a framework for home-based social support for Chinese patients with chronic heart failure using literature analysis, semi-structured interviews, and the Delphi expert consultation method. Initial analysis identified 7 primary, 17 secondary, and 50 tertiary indicators. In two rounds of the Delphi method, the effective response rate was 100% with expert suggestion rates of 53.4% and 20.0%. The final framework comprises 7 primary, 18 secondary, and 58 tertiary indicators. The resulting framework demonstrates satisfactory scientific rigor and reliability. It may serve as a useful reference for healthcare providers in addressing home-based social support needs of this patient population.
