This text describes a completed study focusing on the short-term effects of three different dietary interventions for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). The interventions examined include a Low-FODMAP diet, adapted NICE dietary advice, and 16:8 intermittent fasting. The study aimed to evaluate how these approaches impact individuals suffering from IBS. The Low-FODMAP diet restricts certain carbohydrates that can cause digestive issues. NICE dietary advice refers to guidelines from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence. Intermittent fasting, specifically the 16:8 method, involves restricting food intake to an 8-hour window each day. The research was sponsored by Acibadem University.
