This study investigates the psychological, physiological, and biomechanical responses of the human body to trail running. The research was conducted in a hot and humid environment, adding a specific context to the findings. The intervention involved a trail run covering a distance of 28 kilometers with an elevation gain of 2580 meters. Conditions examined included general running, motivation for physical activity, and sport physiology. The project was sponsored by three institutions: Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de la Réunion, Universite de La Reunion, and University of Franche-Comté. The study has been completed.
