This clinical project investigates the use of high-definition transcranial direct current stimulation (HD-tDCS). The research focuses on individuals suffering from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Its objective was to observe the clinical and hemodynamic correlates of different polarities of this electrical stimulation. The active intervention involved the application of an HD-tDCS device. A control procedure, referred to as sham stimulation, was also implemented for comparison. The project evaluated differences between the active and sham interventions in the context of this condition. The entire study was sponsored and conducted by the Federal University of Paraíba. According to the provided record, this research project has been completed.
