Effect of Tranexamic Acid-Modified Leukocyte- and Platelet-Rich Fibrin on Hemostasis and Wound Healing After Tooth Extraction in Patients Receiving Direct Oral Anticoagulants: A Randomized Split-Mouth Clinical Study

This randomized split-mouth clinical study investigated the effect of tranexamic acid-modified leukocyte- and platelet-rich fibrin. The study focused on hemostasis and wound healing after tooth extraction. Patients receiving direct oral anticoagulants were included in the study. Interventions involved the application of tranexamic acid-modified leukocyte- and platelet-rich fibrin, as well as an absorbable gelatin sponge. The study was sponsored by Cumhuriyet University.
