Horse-assisted Interventions in an Oncological Centre

The study examined the use of horse-assisted interventions (HAI) in patients with oncological diseases. The research focused on patients with breast cancer, oncologic disorders, and hematologic diseases. Horse-assisted interventions represent a behavioral approach that was tested in an oncological center. The study was conducted by the Romagnolo Institute for the Study of Tumors Dino Amadori (IRST S.r.l. IRCCS). The project has been completed. The aim was to explore potential therapeutic benefits of horse interaction for patients with serious oncological diagnoses.
