Effects of Interferential Current and Kinesio Taping Added to Pelvic Floor Muscle Exercises in Women With Primary Dysmenorrhea

The study focuses on the effects of adding interferential current and kinesio taping to pelvic floor muscle exercises in women with primary dysmenorrhea. The primary medical condition investigated in this research is dysmenorrhea. Pelvic floor muscle training is included among the evaluated therapeutic interventions. Another examined intervention within the scope of the study is the application of interferential current. The research also evaluates the use of kinesio taping as a treatment method. The project was sponsored by Istanbul Medipol University Hospital and The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey. The status of this clinical study is currently completed.
