This text describes a study focused on comparing two different approaches to treating low back pain. Specifically, the study addressed low back pain associated with occupation. The main objective was to determine the effectiveness of the Pilates method and conventional kinesiotherapy. Both of these methods were investigated as interventions for patients suffering from this type of pain. The study was sponsored by the Universidade Federal do Triangulo Mineiro. It has already been successfully completed. The results of this study should provide valuable information on which of these therapeutic methods is more effective in addressing occupational low back pain.
