Same-Day Discharge After Elective Transradial Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: A Pilot Randomized Trial

This pilot randomized trial investigated the possibility of same-day discharge for patients. It focused on patients after elective transradial percutaneous coronary intervention. The primary conditions studied included coronary artery disease and chronic coronary syndrome. The study compared two intervention strategies. One of them was same-day discharge after the procedure. The other strategy was conventional hospitalization, which served as a control group. The study was sponsored by PAULO CASTRO CHERPAK and the project has been completed.
