The General Health Insurance Company (VZP) is launching a program of direct financial support for patient organizations. Individual organizations can receive up to 140 thousand crowns for specific projects, which they must subsequently document. VZP wanted to launch the program earlier but failed to agree on a unified approach with other insurance companies. The call will be open from September 25 and VZP will invest up to 10 million crowns by the end of the year. Patient organizations from the list of the Ministry of Health can apply, of which there are approximately 70. Support can be used for education, experience-sharing projects, or rehabilitation stays, but not for the regular operation of organizations. VZP also approved an allocation of 2.595 billion crowns to the prevention fund for next year.
