The study examined factors influencing adults' willingness to use smartphone mental health applications in Bangladesh. The research was conducted from February to June 2026 among 400 adults aged 18-60 years in urban, semi-urban, and rural areas of Bangladesh. Results showed that higher digital mental health literacy was associated with greater willingness to use these applications (24 percent increase in odds). Perceived usefulness and ease of use of technology were independent predictors of willingness. Anxiety symptoms were positively associated with willingness, while depressive symptoms, age, and sex were not independently significant after adjusting for other factors. The study concludes that digital literacy, perceived usefulness, and usability of applications are more important than demographic factors in determining willingness to use digital mental health applications.
