This systematic review examined available evidence on pulmonary rehabilitation in patients with cervical spinal cord injury. The research team analyzed 19 articles including 1 expert consensus, 1 clinical guideline, 9 randomized controlled trials, and 7 systematic reviews from databases such as PubMed, Cochrane Library, and others. From these sources, 29 pieces of best evidence were extracted covering 9 aspects of pulmonary rehabilitation, including establishment of rehabilitation teams, timing of rehabilitation, assessment methods, patient positioning, and exercise training. Evidence was classified according to the Joanna Briggs Institute grading system, with the majority (14 pieces) at level 5b. The researchers concluded that the summarized evidence is scientifically sound and practically applicable for clinical practice.
