Made Scientific acquires cell therapy facility in Pennsylvania, US

Made Scientific has acquired an 85,000 square foot cell therapy manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania from National Resilience. The facility is already operational and programs can be onboarded immediately without waiting for construction and qualification, with support for clinical and commercial manufacturing from 2027. The facility includes eight Grade B/C cleanrooms, one Grade C ballroom, and one Grade B fill-finish suite, along with quality control and storage areas. The facility has successfully completed 145 GMP manufacturing batches for various cell therapy programs including CAR-T and B-cell therapies. Made Scientific plans to expand capacity with eight additional ballrooms and install new technologies including a 3D bioreactor up to 200 liters. The integration of this facility expands Made Scientific's total capacity to 145,000 square feet along the US East Coast with 15 qualified GMP suites.
