The study examined the effects of Quranic recitation (murottal) on patients with HIV who experienced psychosomatic symptoms and fatigue. It was a randomized controlled trial sponsored by the University of Indonesia. The research focused on measuring fatigue severity using the Fatigue Severity Scale and psychosomatic symptoms using the Shatri-Sinulingga test. The intervention was a behavioral approach through Quranic recitation. The study has been completed and its results may contribute to understanding complementary therapeutic approaches in treating HIV patients with associated psychosomatic difficulties.
