Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy vs Moderately Hypofractionated IMRT for Prostate Cancer

This randomized clinical trial compares two methods of prostate cancer treatment. It investigates whether stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) is superior to moderately hypofractionated intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). The main objective is to determine which method has a better impact on patients' quality of life. Patient-reported urinary irritative/obstructive and bowel quality of life are assessed. Furthermore, disease-free survival is also monitored. The study focuses on patients with localized intermediate-risk prostate cancer.
