Proces odvolání jednatelky Nemocnice Nymburk nebyl správný, rozhodl soud

The Municipal Court in Prague ruled that the dismissal of Nela Kvačková, the director of Nymburk Hospital, from December 2024 was invalid. Mayor Tomáš Mach did not have the authority to make the decision to dismiss her, even when authorized by the city council. The court decided that the mayor's decision is legally ineffective from the beginning. The hospital must pay Kvačková 70,102 crowns for court proceedings costs. However, the city office still considers Kvačková validly dismissed and plans to appeal. The court did not address the substantive reasons for the dismissal, which the city justified by the failure to submit changes to public tender documentation.
