Workshop s tématikou HIV/AIDS poskytl aktuální informace studentům zdravotnických oborů

The State Health Institute in the Czech Republic organized a hybrid workshop focused on HIV/AIDS for healthcare students. More than 200 students attended and received current information from leading experts in sexually transmitted diseases and the National Reference Laboratory for HIV/AIDS. The workshop covered topics including laboratory testing options for HIV/AIDS, epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic and worldwide, common sexually transmitted infections, and treatment possibilities. Students learned about post-exposure and pre-exposure prophylaxis as part of combined HIV/AIDS prevention strategies. The workshop was funded by the Czech Ministry of Health and was part of the National Program for addressing HIV/AIDS issues for 2023 to 2027.
