Německá drogerie dm obchází zákony přes Česko. Prodej léků teď řeší soud

The German drugstore chain dm is facing a lawsuit for selling over-the-counter medicines online in Germany, where drug sales are only permitted in pharmacies. Since last December, dm has circumvented German laws by distributing medicines through a logistics center in the Czech Republic, where it established its own pharmacy in the industrial zone Nová Hospoda near Bor. The Central Office for Combating Unfair Competition filed the lawsuit, seeking a judicial ban on the dm-med online pharmacy. The court proceedings began in Karlsruhe, dm's headquarters. dm's offering included approximately 2,500 new items, such as pain tablets and dietary supplements. The German Pharmacists' Association warned against a blurred distinction between pharmacies and drugstores and emphasized the need for trained personnel for potentially dangerous medicines. dm is seeking legal certainty and expects the case could reach the Federal Court of Justice.
