This clinical study focused on the impact of video game experience and warm-up effects on laparoscopic skills. The target group evaluated in this research project consisted of medical students. The primary condition addressed was simulator-based medical skill training. One of the evaluated interventions involved behavioral training using a surgical simulator. Another tested intervention consisted of a ten-minute video game exercise. The project was sponsored by Universidade de Passo Fundo and Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Passo Fundo.
