Evaluation of the Role of Intraoperative Neuromonitoring(IONM) in Patients Undergoing Parathyroid Surgery for Solitary Parathyroid Adenoma

This study focuses on evaluating the role of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM). Specifically, it examines its use in patients undergoing minimally invasive parathyroidectomy. This procedure is performed for the treatment of solitary parathyroid adenoma. The main intervention within the study is intraoperative neuromonitoring itself. The aim is to assess the benefits of this technique during surgery. The study was sponsored by Izmir Katip Celebi University. The research has been successfully completed.
