Miliardový byznys s léky roste: Pharmos hlásí vyšší zisk i nový impuls ze Slovenska

Ostrava-based Pharmos, one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in the Czech Republic, reported last year a revenue increase of 509.3 million to 13.79 billion crowns, representing a 3.8 percent growth. The company's net profit rose by 8.7 million to 74.2 million crowns, with total margin reaching 610.9 million crowns, up 7.6 percent. The company stated that positive results were supported by stable interest rates at 3.5 percent and low inflation, which slowed cost growth. Wage costs increased by 8.5 percent and real employee wages rose by six percent. Pharmos employs an average of 362 employees and is solely owned by Česká lékárnická, which acquired a new investor from Slovakia – PharmCZ. The company plans 2026 as a year of process transformation to leverage synergistic effects within the new owner's holding portfolio.
