Genialis and Inventia to enhance pancreatic cancer treatment testing

Genialis and Inventia Life Science have partnered to improve pancreatic cancer treatment testing and match therapies to patients who are likely to benefit. Their collaboration combines the Genialis Supermodel with Inventia's RASTRUM 3D cell culture platform to study pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The research analyzed 644 pancreatic tumors from the PanCAN SPARK cohort and identified patients with poor prognosis based on tumor microenvironment composition and activity. Results will be presented on September 25 at PanCAN's 2026 Scientific Summit in San Diego. The RASTRUM technology creates 3D pancreatic cancer models where tumor and stromal components can be independently controlled and modified. This collaboration links patient-derived insights with laboratory testing in human-relevant systems before applying findings to clinical populations.
