Výsledky měření ovzduší mobilními systémy v Jablonci nad Nisou v roce 2025

From October 21 to 22, 2025, a 24-hour air pollution measurement was conducted in Jablonec nad Nisou to refine estimates of population exposure levels. The measurement was organized by the State Health Institute in cooperation with regional and municipal authorities. Concentrations of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, ozone, particulate matter PM10 and PM2.5, and other meteorological parameters were measured at six locations including traffic-loaded areas and recreational zones. Short-term emission limits set by air protection legislation were not exceeded; however, World Health Organization recommendations were exceeded for PM10 and reached for PM2.5. Measurements confirmed the impact of traffic on air quality, particularly on Palackého Street, and identified overlapping effects of traffic and energy sources. Measured benzo[a]pyrene values were relatively low, ranging from 0.30 to 0.58 ng/m³.
