This article discusses a study focused on improving clinical reasoning in nursing students. The primary condition investigated within the study was clinical reasoning in nursing education. The interventions involved two main methods. The first was Tanner-structured Socratic AI scaffolding. The second was general-purpose generative artificial intelligence. The aim was to explore how these methods impact students' ability to think critically in a clinical setting. The study was sponsored by Chang Gung University of Science and Technology. The project has been successfully completed.
