Anti-microbial Effect of Acacia Arabica Extract on Gingival and Periodontal Health of Dental Patients

The study investigated the antimicrobial effect of Acacia arabica extract on gingival and periodontal health in patients with gingival and periodontal disease. The research was conducted as a clinical trial using oral rinse and paste based on Acacia arabica. The study was funded by Umm Al-Qura University and has been completed. Acacia arabica is a traditional plant used in medicine that has known antimicrobial properties. The results of the study have the potential to contribute to a better understanding of the efficacy of natural substances in treating periodontal diseases. This area of research is important for the development of alternative or complementary approaches to conventional dental health treatment.
