Changes in Brain-Muscle Coupling After Microneedle-Knife Therapy for Ankle Sprain

The study examined the effects of microneedle-knife therapy on changes in brain-muscle coupling in patients with ankle sprain. Microneedle-knife therapy is an interventional procedure that was applied to patients with this diagnosis. The research was conducted in collaboration between the Affiliated Dongyang Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University and Hangzhou Dianzi University. The study has been completed and focused on analyzing changes in neural-muscular coordination following the application of this therapy. The objective was to understand how this treatment method affects communication between the brain and muscles in the affected area. The results may contribute to better understanding of healing mechanisms following ankle sprain.
