Intraoperative Ketamine Versus Lidocaine Infusion on Postoperative Cognitive Dysfunction in Patients Undergoing Hip Surgery

This study investigated the effect of intraoperative ketamine and lidocaine administration. Its aim was to assess their impact on postoperative cognitive dysfunction. The study focused on patients undergoing hip surgery. Interventions included three groups: a ketamine group, a lidocaine group, and a placebo group. Monitored conditions included ketamine, cognitive dysfunction, and hip surgeries. The study was sponsored by Tanta University and has been completed.
