Ultrasound Guided Femoral Nerve Block Versus Adductor Canal Block by Using Bupivacaine and Magnesium Sulphate for Post-Operative Analgesia

This study compares the effectiveness of two different regional anesthesia methods for post-operative pain relief. Specifically, it investigates the Femoral Nerve Block (FNB) and the Adductor Canal Block. Both techniques are ultrasound-guided and utilize a combination of bupivacaine and magnesium sulphate. The aim is to provide analgesia after knee arthroscopic surgeries. The study includes three groups of patients: a control group, a femoral nerve block group, and an adductor canal block group. The research focused on improving post-operative patient care. This study was sponsored by Tanta University and its completion has been finalized.
